I have a LMT MWS 16" CL barrel

LC brass
Win LR Primers
Varget 43.5 gr
168gr SMK
2.233 OAL measured at Ogive

I find that unless I really squeeze the brass I get feed failures. (tight chamber?????)

i posted my load in the sticky 308 thread. 42.6gr of 4064/178 amax put 4 shots at .3 moa on my ladder test.

varget was good, but nowhere near 4064

What primer did you use? what was your barrel twist rate?
thank you

Here are some I developed and have used with a 20 in Krieger 1-11 Armalite AR10. I do use a tubb spring and carrier weights as well with standard A2 stock.

Every load is LC 88 cases, and wolf lrm or Remington lrm primers. ( using wolf right now.) also each load is mag length except the 185 bergers. They are 2.95 oal. The chamber is an obermeyer that I throated to 1.5 degree leade, set up to run the 185 Berger BTLR .010 off the lands at 2.95 oal.

155 Sierra 2156 Palma. 46.0 H4895
175 Sierra 43.7 RE15 or surplus LR powder. 42.5 H4895
190 Sierra 42.5 LR powder
185 Berger 43.7 LR and 45.0 N150

AR10 16 in carbine with older med weight cromelined Armalite barrel,

130 SOST pulls 45.0 H322

That's about it for gasser loads. all are good in my rifles, the 190 and 130 load are a little stout. The 185 loaded long has been the best performer so far. Only slightly edging out the 190. ETA- these two are 1/2 MOA and the 155's are 3/4. No real good numbers on speed, the big gun is for NRA LR and is zeroed at 600. When I get some velocity numbers I'll come back and put them up.

Panzer....gonna PM you on your 130 SOST load. I have fired a bunch of the factory rounds and love the performance. I have about 500 pulls and have started loading with 3031 and 4895 in the FC factory cases but havent found the magic # yet.
