Police and prosecutors falsely made up some big complex story about a crime to make themselves look good.
Now the local citizens are finding out that sometimes it really really hurts and on a personal pocketbook level when the local taxpayers have to pay out for misconduct by "their" police.

A good object lesson for all the sheeple...

Too bad, but that's what you get when you use political speeches, debates, and polls to determine how you vote. You end up with crooked politicians, over-zealous prosecutors who value the next notch on the gun more than the truth, and corrupt cops who just want to create a case where there isn't one

Seems pretty simple just take the funds from the police, prosecutors and judicial state budgets.
Any and all that were involved in the shady shit if still alive can serve the 75 years combined until dead or time served.
Qualified immunity or whatever bs lets them off the hook is complete bs

Take their house/retirement and any future earnings.

Lawyers help cause this by going after the "deep pockets"

So why aren't Gage County "Officials" personally responsible for this? I'm sure the populace didn't pursue and convict the 6. The 'officials' as well as the State that continued the persecution are the ones who created this mess.

Not the County. At least that's how I see it.
