I almost lost a swivel stud off one of my 700s, is it ok to Loctite blue an H&S stock? A search didn't turn up any topics

it unscrewed? if that were the case and it was me... id wax the threads with kiwi neytral paste and use JB weld or similar epoxy in the stock. if you mean where it screws in the stock. but thats just me. i do stuff like that. does that make sense? it just sounds like the stock material is a little loose and not holding the screw. the epoxy would tighten it up and the wax would let the screw release and back out. but its hard to say when i cant see it. blue should do if its tight otherwise.
