Rifle Scopes Loctite

I will be mounting a rail to my Savage rifle, as well as mounting a new scope on my new GG&G mount and rings.....what Loctite formula should I use for these applications, if any????

Agreed Blue Locktite on just the rail and nothing else. Just torque down the screws properly. Typically 65 lb/in on the rings and 15 on the ring covers

and only on the rail I am mounting, nothing on the rings.

Loctite blue now comes in a red bottle.

blue locktite on every screw. Base and rings.

Just because you torque it to spec doesn't mean it won't come loose. Hence the reason locktite was invented.

yeah, the bottle is red, the locktite is blue
