The M1A synthetic and wood are my old style home made parts. I now install Terry Cross' loggerhead hardware. It is much more user friendly, lightweight, has more adjustment and is readily available from KMW. A much better mouse trap!

Nice. It's nice to see a retrofit for a fixed stock to be able to use the Loggerhead hardware. Very clean work.

Is that <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">George Mac</span></span>'s A1-3 in the first two photos? If it is, I remember that that particular rifle began life as a Tac Ops X-Ray 51 (modified A5 stock). Later, George switched over to the A1-3 but needed a big chunk of foam and duct tape for the correct cheek height. Beautiful work!
