Lone Peak Arms

I have 2 Fuzions and really like them. I came from a bighorn and the difference is noticable. BH is a great action and really like the TL3 for hunting rigs, but found them gumming up over the course of a day or 2 day match.

Bolt lift and ergos are great on the LP, they handle dust, dirt, rain, and cold really well. Run well from -30F to 90F.

As others have stated, they break in really nice. No complaints here. I'm trying to talk myself out of a Nitrided Ti Fuzion, for a light/compact .223 AI, but not sure I'll be able to.

As to the question about Fuzion vs. Razor, they "feel" the same.. all differences are external geometry (integrated rail, slabbed sides, etc.)
Lightweight titanium Fuzion .223 AI. Proof barrel.
I really like it.

Love my LP Fusion LA MAG TI. My 2nd favorite action for builds. SAC built, chambered in 7 Max, Proof Barrel, Manners Elite CF, HS Precision BM, Terminator Brake, TT diamond flat shoe.

Really looking to get a stainless Fuzion with the Alpine cut and any other weight saving features they can add.

Want to build a lightweight, but just not sold on Ti yet. Figure the alpine cut will shave an ounce or two.

Any thoughts.

I wonder what a defiance ruckus GA Hunter would weigh if you had them do extra deep flutes on the bolt. I heard they can get the weight down a good bit and have an integral rail. I have heard the LP TI actions are legit and not to worry about though. Disclaimer** I havent played with any of these toys, but done a bit if research on them trying to do a couple different build ideas

Lone Peak TI runs smooth. I used Elite Cerokote on the action and it’s slick as my Surgeons. No bolt binding. Guys build hunting rifles on the Lapua case catridges so I wouldn’t worry.

Agree with BCX, mine is just as smooth as my last Surgeon and no binding in a much lighter weight package. Primal Finish did Cerakote the outside of the action but left the bolt and inside the action bare. It just checks all my boxes for the perfect hunting action. This is a mid action TS Customs built for me, chambered in 6.5PRC. Got a little over 200 rounds on it, the action was extremely smooth on day 1 and has only gotten better.

Great looking rifle Travis does great work.

To condense my thoughts on actions.
For absolute precision I like a Borden.
For light weight I prefer a Lone Peak Ti Fuzion.
For rugged durability I prefer an original pattern Surgeon with the Remington extractor, not the "improved" extractors.
I also like the 700/40X actions.

My LP Ti built by TS Customs is very smooth to work with.I had Travis build mine in 223AI.
