What is your longest night kill?

What was your setup to range and spot?

365-370 on a sub 15 lb coyote. He fell 348 yds from where I shot him. He ran 15-20 yds directly at me when I hit him before falling.

I think my longest was a single 150ish lb lone boar around 375yd in south Mississippi about three years.
Was with a guide and we spotted him way out in the distance on our scanners but he kept driving, I asked if I could take a try.
So he stopped the SxS and started playing on his phone as I set my rifle on my tripod.
So ranged him the best I could with my original terrapin, i think it was 350-375ish.
Let my 701 do the math and dialed it in.
Let a round go and that satisfying hollow THWOP reported back, the guide turned to me and was like "did you just f*@^ing hit that?!"

So we navigated back and found him on the far tree line.

Was pretty awesome experience.

Calm but with a storm coming in, 540 yds on a wild hog. Probably 150lbs or so.

Q Fix, 22" 6.5 Creed with 143 eld-x at 2720fps. 5-25 Vudu, utc-xii, raptar.

My brother has a grainy video through his handheld thermal. You can see hot blobs, hear the tof and the smack, maybe the squeal after. I really need to get a triggercam or something.

That thud had to make your heart flutter.

Mine obviously wasn’t as far, but that thwack was as satisfying as they get. Had 2 buddies in the high rack with me running kill lights. The coyote wouldn’t look up at us at all, so they never saw him. I watched him trying to circle downwind of us for about 20 minutes. He was about to wind us, and I was down to the last couple seconds as he was dropping off into a draw, and when he came up the other side of the draw he would’ve been down wind. They thought I was full of shit as they hadn’t seen him. I sent it, and they heard the thwack loud and clear. They could tell it wasn’t even remotely close, and we found him with a perfect lung shot.
