Long Range Rifle LR101
(New for 2017 on New 1400 yard Private Range)


This is a 2 day course of instruction, taking the fundamentals from our PR series and teaching how to apply them into Long Range shooting. Students will continue with field data collection with a greater emphasis on atmospheric measurements and applying these into ballistic solvers for firing solutions on target packages from 600 yards to 1400 yards. Students will also work on spotting and making calling corrections for each other.
Prerequisite PR 101 class and/or a rifle system with confirmed zero and field tested mid-range data


Precision Rifle PR101

A 2 day course of instruction, PR 101 is designed for the beginner to intermediate shooter. This course has a heavy emphasis on the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship and will be primarily done from the front support prone position. Physical exertion for students will be low to moderate. Instruction is focused on key marksmanship fundamental skills, rather than an overload of information. Target packages out to 700 yards.

Precision Rifle PR102

A 2 day course of instruction building on PR 101, designed for the intermediate shooter. We introduce students to unknown distance (UKD) targets, moving targets, multiple target engagement, the use of ballistic solvers, and external ballistics. Physical exertion for students will be low to moderate. Target packages in excess of 700 yards.
