We continue to offer our Precision Rifle and Long Range 101 courses in Western New York State. Also new for 2018 we have partnered up with TreadProof Academy and will be offering Precision Rifle courses at their brand new facility in Nunnelly, TN. Check TreadProof Academy for further details about TreadProof Academy.
Long Gun Training will also continue to host our friends in the precision rifle training business into our facilities. We have coordinated with Ridgeline Outfitters; they will be running their PR 2.0 course with us in Western New York this season. Look for other guest instructor dates as this year’s training progresses, both in New York and Tennessee.
Precision Rifle PR 102
A two day course of instruction with one day on our Main Training Center range with target sets out to 700 yards and one day on our Valhalla UKD range. This course is designed for the intermediate shooter and builds off of PR 101. We introduce students to unknown distance (UKD) targets, moving targets, multiple target engagement, the use of ballistic solvers and external ballistics. Physical exertion for students will be low to moderate.

Range Safety, Rules and Range Brief
Continued collection of rifle data from PR 101
Introduction to Ballistic Solvers Software and Hardware
Unknown Distance (UKD) target engagement
Positional, Tripod, barricade and Front support other than prone
Multiple Target engagement
External Ballistics (Intermediate)
Live Fire Drills:
100 Yard Zero confirmation (Paper Target)
Cold Bore Shot Principles (Paper and Steel Targets)
Steel Targets 200 Yards to 700+ Yards
Students will engage multiple targets and continue recording personal data
Unknown Distance target packages
Multiple Target engagement drills (Including Time Stress drills)
Wind Reading and adjustment drills
