alright guys this is my stupid question for this week but iv seen a lot of pictures of scopes with really long tubes (example: http://www.tactical-life.com/online/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/accupoint_5_20x50_hr.gif) and iv looked around at some leupold scopes and around at some other brands and i cant really find them. What are they exactly and what brands have them.

are talking about the body of the scope or the sunshade? that doesn't appear to be too long of a body tube to me.
if it's the part on the front, it's a sunshade, which, well, shades your lens from the sun to reduce glare.

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask and gets you in to trouble. Always ask when in doubt. The guy here are very understanding.
