I am re-barreling my 6.5 Creedmoor AR10 to a 6 Creedmoor. I want a good 26" heavy barrel. Suggestions please.

Yeah, they are a reseller for Bartlein. Great barrels and ....expensive. I may end up going with them, but didn't want to drop $800 on a barrel.
Call Charlie. Tell him I sent you.
He does a lot of work on AR10s and is one of the pioneers for AR Tactical F Class
So a Bartlein blank is $340ish
My smith is $400 for a full chamber job with muzzle threads.
seems a little more than that for a gas port and some profiling doesnt seems that crazy to me.
It's not crazy and is worth the money, I am just looking at all options and suggestions. Hoping to find a good one in the $400-500 range finished. May be wishful thinking!?

Barrels are a tough place to skimp (cause if the $450 one doesnt shoot, then you are out $1250 total and the time and components)
This Tasco on my .338 is badass though!!!

Add $100 for barrel extension (JP or BAT) as well.
I’ve been down this road with custom smith. Barrel shoots great but not worth the money over something like a Proof prefit.

No but I'm in the same boat as you looking for a 6 Creedmoor barrel and their price looks to be worth it.
