I'm looking for a load for 308 Winchester using a 180gr / 190gr bullet and ether Retumbo or RL-33. I have nearly 5LB of each to use up. I know these are most likely not the best powders to use in a 308 Win but I have a crap load of it. And I just don't shoot my 300 RUM or 243 WIN enough to use it up and its getting old. I got the RL-33 because I was about out of Retumbo and none of my local shops could get any in a few years ago. I was shooting a lot of 338 lapua and 300 RUM. Retumbo has good load data out and works outstandingly for the 300 RUM and 243 my favored hunting rounds as well as the 338. Since Retubo is just kinda an all around powder for me I would like to stick to it. I never actually opened the 5lb jug of RL-33 so I need to use it up but the only thing I shoot much of these days is 308 and I need to start reloading it. If I can find a good load for retumbo i'll stick to it and try to sell the RL-33 but im hopping I can use it up. I just want to be safe and know there are some people on here that are much smarter me and hope to tap some of that wisdom.
