I've been hunting doves, ducks and getting prepped for goose plus I'm doing the EGR delete kit on my truck so I haven't gotten to go out to that range for a while. But I'm doing up some test loads for my new Grendel tonight and will be heading out there to shoot those off pretty soon and I'll shoot you a message. (I'll be gone all next week for elk).

i once lived in Loveland, Colorado, 15 years, 1978 - 93, my opinion is if you ignore the politics and the "social life" around the cities you will love Colorado, great fishing, hunting, changing of the seasons, winter temps go as low as 38 deg. summer temps. rarely ever hit 100 deg., the Pawnee Grasslands which is North/East of Ft. Collins, great place for looooooong range shooting and off roading bikes, it;s only open for recreation in the winter months.

I never implied that your granddaughter "Howled at the moon" and am sure she has done well for herself dispite her genetic predesessor.
Since she is street smart,confident and attractive there should be no problem for her to find a shooting buddy on her own.

4.Contact your friend's mental health professional. If she doesn't have one, skip to Step 5. Any mental health professional can authorize the psych hold if he feels it's necessary.
5.Call the police if the person is placing himself or someone else in immediate danger. This includes threats of suicide or initiating a suicide attempt. Law enforcement officers can take him into custody and request that he be put on a 72-hour psych hold.
6.File an ex parte order at the clerk of court's office for your county. To do this, you must have witnessed the criteria for initiating the Baker Act and swear to it. You must have discussed voluntary Baker Acting with the person previously. personally, i will not be in attendance as i live in Arizona, the Pawnee Grasslands is a real great place to shoot or do what ever you fancy.
if you like history, there is some very interesting history about 25 - 30 miles north of Ft. Collins, when going North towards Cheyenne on I-25, near the Wyoming border, there is a single hill off to the East (your right side), climb that hill, then look at the ground towards the South, you will see several Indian Tee-Pee rings, around 10 or so, there is one large ring which was the "Medicine Tee-Pee", the Medicine man would climb that hill and pray to Wakan Tanka, the Sioux name for the Great Spirit. the large rock formation on both sides of the I-state, there a band of Mountain Men and some Crow indians fought a great battle against a huge band of Blackfeet, James P. Beckwourth was one of the more famous M.M., but according to his biographer he was a great liar as well, he claimed to have killed 100+ indians in one single battle.
