Rifle Scopes looking for a good 300 blackout scope

checked out a guy's ACOG and it worked perfect with reticle for sub sonic and sonic rounds exactly what I want but I don't want to spend a grand on an optic for plinker rifle - I see Nikon and Leopold make DC reticle scopes for 300BO but I really don't want a true scope - any ideas

Take a look at the Pride Fowler lineup. They just came out with a very nice little scope with 300BO specific reticle. It comes standard with three illumination colors and the glass is very nice. I purchased two of them at pre-production pricing but I think even now they're only running about $400(ish).

I did a lot of research on Pride Fowler and they are little known but very respectable. I am very satisfied with mine.

Just as background; I own several very high end scopes and therefore am somewhat critical but I too wanted a "decent" piece of glass for my "toy" rifle so didn't want to break the bank for it. I thought for what I paid, I would take a chance. Very glad I did.

I ran a combo of both Vortex scope (magnification - supersonic) and a side-mounted Burris fastfire II (subsonic) for quite some time. I recently switched to an Eotech Blackout 300 model just to try something different. If I don't like it, I will switch back again.

I have a Vortex PST in 1-4 on mine. It seems just about right.

If you do go the eotech route any of the x-2 models are the same as the 300 blk but without the engraving. I found a 2-2 for much cheaper than the dedicated model.

I have been using an SWFA 3-9 mil-quad on mine and have been very happy with it: lots of adjustment and holdover with that reticle.
