Dear Sniper´s Hide´s
Asking for some help as I need to re-barrel a Rem 700 in 300 WM
Would be best if it was in and around Miami, Fl area.
Would like to blue print action and have the re-barrlel work done
Thanks, Wille

Put it on a brown truck. South Florida isn't exactly a hotbed for rifle smiths!

Thanks GH41, Looks like that is what I will end up doing. Any recomendations on where I should send it ?
Regards, John

Somarriba is a well known gunsmith in Miami, FL. The shop is located at Kendall.

Ozzie Suarez is a genius and Miami resident. He doesn't do a ton of work anymore but if you can get him to work with you he's as good as anybody.

Box it up and send it to Chad at LRI. Turnaround time is fast and pricing is great. Check out their post in the group buy fourm. It's not Florida but it will be done right, competed quickly and at a great price.

Last time I spoke to Ozzie he was retiring but Joe Somarriba does good work. Just had a barrel threaded for around $65 and turn-around was about 4 days.

You might want to do some research prior to using C&H.

I have no first hand experience with them. Just a heads up to the OP.

Thanks for that. Didn't know the changes there. Good info.
