Looking for a place to start with 180 Berger Hybrids for a 280AI using RL-17. Anyone shooing with combo?
My Rifle has a 28" 1:8.5 twist obermeyer.

I tried it and eventually shifted to norma mrp, I was getting pressure way too early with rl-17

That powder's a little too fast... Particularly for heavy bullets. I use VV 560 and Berger 168s in mine. If you have a long enough barrel to get those 180s to 2800 - 2900 FPS, they will really shoot flat!
