    Everyone,

Could use a little help here. I have been looking around for a multi-drawer cabinet of some sort to hang from under some cabinetry/shelving in my reloading room. My bench space is at a premium, so a toolbox type setup is not ideal. I have similar concerns with floorspace, so a stand alone toolbox is also not ideal. I would like something like a machinst's chest, but all of those that I have searched for seem to come in two configurations - 1) lots of tiny drawers like I would like, but with a top comaprtment lid that locks the drawers or 2) with no top compartment but large drawers. I would like to mount this such that the top of this cabinet is flush with the shelves/cabinets above. I don't have room to accomodate the opening lid (not enough vertical clearance between bench and shelving).

I really wanted something made out of wood, but when it proved hard to find, I began to look for plastic - something along the lines of a bolt and screw drawer set. Even those have been difficult to come by.

Any thoughts on what you guys are using or where I could find such an animal?

    Thanks,

    Casey

Try American Van at www.american van.com.They sell bins, boxes, and racks for commercial vans and trucks, like plumbers and electricians use.The stuff that I have is durable, and not too expensive. Pete

Sounds like your having all kinds of problems! I would build a wooden bench of what ever size you would like, then put a craftsmen tool box under it. Craftsmen makes them in many different sizes and configerations. Sears puts them on sale now and then and you can get a good deal on them. This makes a nice setup for reloading and storage for your gear!

Pete - these may work and were really in line with what I was looking for. Thanks for the tip. Country and bowlsngr - my benches are already built and I already have some shelving and big item storage below them. Was really looking for something at eye level "above bench."
