Hello all,
I am looking for help coming up with a plan for a reloading table in a small apartment. I do not have the space to put a full height (~36") but I do have the space to put a short table in that can slide under my coffee table or air conditioning unit for storage. I know that a short table would mean that I would be sitting on the floor.

I am thinking of making my table 18" tall. Would this provide enough space for the lever of my Hornady single stage press to fully cycle?

Unfortunately for me, clamping this reloading setup to another table is not an option.

Anyone have any suggestions for a short reloading table?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

If it is to small you will tip it over. I have mine on a roll around tool box so it is easy to move and I have several bags of lead shot and a bunch of projectiles in the bottom drawer. That makes for a very stable platform.

You might look at a Black & Decker Workmate portable workbench.

The link shows a fancy top they made for it, but you could attach your press simply with bolts and wingnuts for quick breakdown. When youre done just fold up the table and stuff it under the bed or in closet. I think the short bench idea would make you very uncomfortable fast. My back aches thinking about it.
