Last year‘s goal was 1000 yards. Accomplished it easily with savage model 10 rifle and SWFA scope.. looking to move onto this year‘s goal of a 1 mile shot. Went for a very capable Sako TRG 42 in .338 LM. Looking at offerings from Leupold (MK5HD 7-35x56 Tremor 3), Trijicon (TenMile 4.5-30x56 xmas tree), Nightforce (NX8 4-32x50 Mrad).. am I Overlooking any great options in the $1,700-$2,500 range? Is there a benefit to tree reticles over mil dot styles (Leupold tremor3 vs TMR)? Any wisdom / truth bombs you can hit me with to save me some pain in very expensive .338 rounds? Thanks in advance.
