Rifle Scopes Looking for recommendations for rails for new Bergara HMR

I have a Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 Creed. coming. Long rang bolt guns are a new platform for me. Looking for recommendations for a good rail. Nothing over the top. Going to be learning with a Super Sniper that maxes out at 9X until I can afford something more.

My understanding is the HMR uses same rails as Rem 700.

Looking for something solid just under the point of diminishing return.

I have a BMP - Same action/ barrel - just in a chassis and Yes - it uses Rem 700 SA rails, I put a 20 MOA Leupold rail on mine.. works just fine.

I've got a Talley 20 MOA on my HMR and I've got no complaints. I run an EGW 20 MOA on my Ruger American Predator and a Blackhawk (Weaver) 20 MOA on my Savage and both of those have been solid. Lots of good options for the 700 SA pattern that Bergara uses.

Same here. Area 419 rail is a quality piece, and ships with two sizes of screws.

Leupold, EGW, Talley, Weaver tactical....


You don't need to spend $200 on a rail. You can, but you really don't need too.

I am another for the Area 419 rail. For a budgetary rail, MDT makes a nice one that I have also used and it has a built in recoil lug as well.
