Definitely not No. Cal - far from it (you have to send the action to Mississippi), but have you considered <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="font-style: italic">Birdsong finishes</span></span>? Better corrosion resistance than other polymer coatings, applied extremely thin, (.0002-.0003"), and has excellent lubricity. Below are a couple of photos of two of my Birdsong-coated guns:

To me, anything north of SF bay is Nor Cal. I make that by 1/4 mile.

to me, if it's not in the 530, it's not northern california. everything outside of the 530 can be the bay area or southern california for all i care
