I am having zero luck finding and precision rimfire comps in my area. I live just north of terre haute. Would love to find something within a hour or so. Danville conservation club has a br match once a month, they are about a hour from me and with my 3 on 3 off schedule i cant make it at least through june.

I have been talking to a friend and owner of proteq range outside brazil about putting something together. Just dont know if there is even any interest around here.

Anyone in my area know of anything.

I was able to find 4 ARA matches in Indiana, most held monthly. Only one is relatively close to me.

Clarks just outside cayuga
Marion close to speedway
Livona and
Wabash

Clarks is this saturday (I have to work but went last month) and wabash is the following month. Wabash is almost 3 hours from me, doubt i drive that far.

Here is a link to the ARA schedule, just scroll looking at the state.

Clarks has really tough conditions, wind was fierce. I shot a 2000 first target but they never got better.

Was my first ever rimfire comp though.

NRL .22 at Hoosier Hills (now on Saturdays)

Please join Hoosier Hills Rifle & Pistol club for the 2019 NRL22 season! HHRP is a member of NRL so scores will be posted with NRL22.

When: First Saturday of the month, briefing starts at 10am. Sight in is available 9am-10am
You must sign up ahead of time We pre-print score cards and set up targets based on it.
Please review the month's course of fire at https://nrl22.org/downloads/

Where: HHRP Outdoor range in Gnaw Bone, Indiana between Columbus and Nashville.
https://www.google.com/maps/dir//39....e3!4m2!4m1!3e0
(one driveway west of Suburban Propane, go down the road and look for the turnoff to the left)

Cost: $10 for HHRP members, $15 for non-members
All participants must use eye and ear protection.

If you haven't shot NRL22 before, the short version is ten rounds in two minutes shooting multiple positions (prone, sitting, kneeling, offhand, with and without support), multiple distances (25-100 yards), and varying targets (1/4"-4" steel, paper). It isn't hard, but it is challenging and a lot of fun.

More details, FAQ, rules, classes, course of fire, etc available at https://nrl22.org/

I'm glad to see Hoosier Hills hosting NRL matches now. Also MHF Enterprises is hosting NRL matches just west of Terre Haute starting this year.

Riley conservation club has a great long range .22 match that goes out to 200 yards. Usually 2 a month when the shooting season starts up.
