FULLSTOP.... change in plan from blue to nickel work.

I've got a nasty old colt that I want to strip and re-nickel. Does anybody here know someone that can?

No idea if they would, but USFA (in the original Colt building in Hartford) do the most beautiful bluing work I have ever seen.

If they wont, try Colt. They restored my dad’s carry Colt .357 and it looked like new other than the edges of the barrel that did not take the same due to holster wear. (Their tester made a silly offer to buy it as well because he said it was the most accurate one he ever experienced- dad declined)

I have a Colt 38 Detective special revolver (nickel) that I had Robar Guns refinish for me in nickel. I believe they sent it out to a third party. I got it back and it was absolutely perfect. If you want it done right, contact them. There number is Phone: (623) 581-2648.
