Looking for this stock or a stock like it

I hope I am posting this in the right place, but I am wanting to build a bolt action 204 ruger, I have not found the action that I want to use yet but I have found the stock the thing is I can find it by it self, so my question is where can I find it or would I be better off just getting the savage shown below

That exact stock is for a rimfire. However, Boyds makes it, and makes a thumbhole varminter for other models.

I say get it if you have the money. What is the caliber? Looks like a rimfire but you say you want a 204 ? Communication is key here only so much you can tell from a picture. Box DOES look in good shape may be worth it ....

I was in the same exact boat as you a year ago, my wife wanted that stock for a .243 build. Look up Jim at Northland on SavageShooters .com, he sells the stock. Also look at Stockys, I think they had something just like it too. I honestly can't remember where I got mine but it was one of those two as they both have them. FYI, the coloring is called brown/brown.

well the rifle in the picture is a .17 however savage make one exactly like it with a black barrel in a ruger 204 and a 223 so the caliber I want is a 204, but the thing is i dont really like the action that is on the savage 204 ruger. but let me look into stockys and boyds and see what they got and then go from there

Wait, now I'm confused. Do you want to buy the stock and action together? What action do you want? You can't build a 204 on the rifle you have pictured, you need either a Savage 10 action or a Stevens 200 short action. If you want the action and stock together, give Jim a call. He has everything you want.

what he wants is basically a Savage model 25 LV-T in 204, it's wssentially the Mk II action scaled up a bit

EDIT: Found it, boyds did have it for the remington 700, now the next step is to find a used 700 short action at a pawn shop
