Looking up landline

How do I find a residential land line number off a name and address. I tried White Pages, but I am not having any luck.
I made a transaction for a shotgun with a guy a while ago and just want a backup number for him, because he always takes forever to return my calls on his cellphone.

I just assumed that doesn't even exist anymore. I don't even remember the number. Technology has made me stupid.
