Would authorize the use of lawfully owned suppressors for taking unregulated quadrapeds. Is on the agenda today! Already passed in the House by a unanimous vote. Fellow Louisianans, contect your Senator and ask them to support HB 169.

As of noon still pending Senate final passage. Senate office secretary said they have until June 24, 2011 to pass it. Cross our fingers.

I was the person who requested Rep. Henry file this bill. It is on the calendar for a vote (and has been since last week) but will not likely be reached until later this week. Cross your fingers that the budget bill doesn't come out of committee as that would retard the process. So far we have not seen any opposition to the bill so I am very hopeful.

It was passed over again which means someone has an opinion about it. Any time anyone has a question, no matter how mundane, a bill is termed "controversial" and must be debated. THe senate decided not to debate today and only dealt with non-controversial bills. We have to wait for another day.
I did talk to Rep. Henry and he is still confident it will ultimately become law.
