Love this rifle and when a Node comes togeather!!

This is the gun I love.

And I was estatic after finding this node at 37.2gr on my first try!!

But the load was only around 2825 fPS. Stan the Big Bam Boo, thought I should look further. I loaded 5 rounds of each going up 3gr at at time from 37.5. I was only getting crappy groups like this

Up until I found a node at 38.4, I think I will stick with it!!

Any guesses at what the load will chrony at? I will have the answer after shooting on Sunday.

Sweet rifle! I have a Tikka also... in .223 in a XLR. I LOVE IT! Tikkas are outstanding rifles.

Very nice stick. Hard to go wrong with the 6.5x47. I'm going to guess, you will be very close to 2950 fps.

Just got back 2930-2950 and yes dead nuts at 750 yards!

I tried Varget and the 130 and ended up giving up and going to H4350. Looks like I might have to try it again with a bit more powder. I stopped at 37.5 previously. The H4350 has been doing very well for me though.

I started with the varget because its what I use for the 308 Tikka and its insensitivity to temp changes. Seems to work with my combo

Ive been shooting 37gr of Varget and a JLK 130 for about 2000 rounds and it works great. 2850 fps out of a 24" barrel. Not particulary fast but shoots lights out, and I won a few local matches with it.

If you think your velocity is too slow, run it in your ballistic software next to a .308 of any flavor. That usually makes me feel better.

I am pretty happy with this load, dont think I will try and find another node at a higher velosity? What do you guys think?
