The Low Light Suppressor-only shoots at NHRPC are kicking off 3/3/12. These consist of practical style carbine shooting and longer distance precision shooting in a variety of lighting conditions. The targets are illuminated with white light, green laser designator, or are back-lit. You are never shooting at a target you cannot clearly identify. An NFA registered sound suppressor is required. Remember to bring a copy of your paperwork.
ETA: Night vision is welcome but not required.
We are meeting for safety briefing and setup at 1630 in the club house. There will be courses of fire for precision, carbine, and if you have a suppressed pistol, you are encouraged to bring that too, and shoot it just for fun.
$20 members, $30 guests.
Online registration required:

Changes for this year regarding the suppressor shoots:
Please welcome Ben S as the Assistant Practical Rifle Match Director. Ben is stepping up to help out and take some of the weight off me. Please extend him a warm welcome and do what you can to ensure he is successful.
No white light shall be used on the firing line. You need to have a colored or tinted lens of some kind. Petzl LED head light or similar is recommended.
White light on the gun is recommended (Carbine). Many stages are starting to exploit this.
These are primarily for members only, but we do accept guests if they have shot with us before and have demonstrated safe handling in every respect.
Thank you, and let's have some good safe fun in the dark this year.
(Ah, I guess I could have said that better.......... )
