I'm looking for a low variable power scope variable or fixed that is compact for my AR. I've got a small dot sight for it now but would like something will a little more power for when I want to shoot 100-300yds. I don't want a full size optic but something smaller like a 20/26/28/30/32 objective yet still be rugged. Something around $100-$300. What do you recommend?

Something like these or this..

Re: Low power AR scope.. options?

The only one I can put any valid input on is the Mark AR 1.5-4x20 scope. It runs around 300 dollars, 1/2 moa adjustments, glass is very very clear for the price. I've used it out to 300 yards with no issues returning to zero at all and the other night I was out spotlighting coyotes with a red lens light (legal in this state, please don't go game warden on me hahaha, they kill our calves) and it was still usable in that lack of light. I am zero complaints with it for what I paid.

Re: Low power AR scope.. options?

Going to pull this thread from the grave but im as well looking for a small preferable 1-4x but a 2-7x scope might be ok.

What i want to do is A)mainly plink just want something for close range milk jug destroying.B) I also want to be able to use it for coyote hunting. Just looking for a small, lighter weight scope (dont want a 2 pound scope).

Would really like it to have a lighted reticle for nightime pest control. Can anything fit these requirements for under $300?
