I'm in the middle of building my first AR I've ever owned. It will be used for hunting coyotes and some precision work out to 400m. I just need help identifying which company makes a quality kit as far as pins, detents and springs are concerned. The FCG will be upgraded to a Timney with KNS pins. The safety selector switched for the BAD-CASS and pistol grip replaced with a Falcon Industries Ergo.

I'm looking to spend < $100. Any recommendations for kits not mentioned are greatly appreciated as I may have overlooked some. It would be best if anyone knows where I may order only the excellent parts needed.

I've considered the following:

Daniel Defense-Good things being said about this kit, but Midway says it's been discontinued. I might still be able to pick it up if I look hard enough.

PSAw/ MIAD- I haven't noticed too many people giving praise to this kit, but it would save me the time and money from buying the MIAD separately.

Stag- For $66 this seems to be the best compromise of price and value with many supporters.

The PSA kits are GTG. You can get the kit w/o fcg, or I believe they have a kit with a Timney. They have the most stuff in stock generally, and although right now shipping is running about 4 weeks they have been great throughout this year getting parts out (NO GOUGING). Many rifles around me built with PSA kits and no problems, just built one with a PSA Geissele SSA kit-functions beautifully. If they are OOS on an item you want just wait as they have been getting almost everything in stock pretty regularly.

Um... you should NOT have to pay ANYWHERE close to $100 for a LPK. The prices have DROPPED considerably UNLESS you are wanting a match trigger setup. The LPK are in the price range of $50 and I have seen them as low as $47. Look around and as long as it a reputable company the parts will be GTG.

I've heard that KNS pins are not recommended for the Geissele triggers, but people seem to do it anyway. I've seen more than a few builds with the Timney and KNS installed. The PSA LPK w/o FCG for $39.99 is perhaps the best route.
