I was talking with Ben at JP today, arranging final details on my rifle that's been on order for some time. I'm thrilled that it's in build now, finally payment get sent next week, and I could see it as soon as two weeks. What I did consider is buying an existing stock rifle now. For any of you who may be looking, they have several in stock and ready to ship; previous customer orders that were canceled: JP - Available Firearms and Assemblies

Mines close enough to being complete, and has a few pretty specific customizations, where Ben nicely talked me off the wall of just buying something out of existing inventory, but if you are looking and want something now, there are a few pretty cool .308 builds available.

JP seems to be running well right now; besides seeing a multitude of rifles on their "ready to ship" page I just did the DROS on the 6.5CM LRP-07 that I ordered on 5-31 (custom build, not from the "available" page.) Only took them 7 weeks including shipping to get it here instead of the quoted 12-14 weeks.

Now for the long 10 day waiting period here in CA... ugh.

Congrats, JP Rifles are awesome. I love mine almost as much as my wife, if one had to go it would be a tough decision. All kidding aside they are great rifles, accurate, dependable, tough as nails. In my opinion JP and gap-10 are two of the best AR rifles you can get.
