Rifle Scopes lucid advantage scope?

I have used one for about a year now on one of my AR-10's, and had used it for a bit on my L338. I have a Nightforce that is in many ways the "inspiration" for the Lucid Advantage scope, and while the NSX is a bit clearer and has less chromatic distortion at the edges, the Lucid is a very fine scope, is well calibrated, has a great set of useful turret and other features. I got this scope after I had used the HD-7 for about a year, and had nothing but great results with it on both my Kriss vector and an AR-15, and in a few important ways i liked it better than the AP it replaced on my Vector. While I have some great sights and scopes (EOTech, Aimpoint, Hensoldt, S&B and a Zeiss Tactical), I have over 2 dozen rifles, and I cannot justify or afford 2-4 grand scopes for every gun. So, while there are some trade offs that are minor for my uses, scopes like this fill an important gap for me, which saves me time and money in wasted ammo related to moving a few top optics between my various rifles and having to continually sight them in. I got spoiled early on with great mil gear and I started to continue when I got home. However, I was amazed to find scopes like this, which have allowed me to spend 10-20% to get 90%+ of the utility for my needs, while holding SI like a rock. If you can afford and justify top glass for your arms, then go for them, as there are some quality and pride of ownership advantages. However, if the reticle, turrets and other features of a lower end sce like this fit the bill for you, give it a try-- it worked for me, and my team and friends (and myself also) all feel I am pretty picky and jaded. I just hope Lucid comes out with a FFP scope soon, as I will buy it in a second (pref Mil/Mil, or at least MOA/MOA).

AMDenis, I thought it strange that you joined this forum solely to give a positive review of this scope, so I looked up the scope to see if there were any other good reviews online.

It appears and "AMDenis" also gave the same glowing review on Optics Planet. Crazy about this scope, or work for Lucid?

I was looking for a good medium to long range scope for my AR-10, and was ready to spend around $1,000. I have some great German and US glass and had previously only used Leupold, Zeiss, Trijicon and US Optics. While I realized that this $400 scope would not take the place of the $1,500-2,500 glass, since I had previously been amazed by their $200 HD-7 Red dot I threw on my Kriss Vector, so I figured I would give this a try. Well, I sighted it in at 100 yards in about 5 minutes, and have used it for 3 months now at up to 450 yards with amazing repeatability, very good clarity and brightness. My AR fell over on concrete, scope side down, but other than a minor scratch, nothing was affected. So, in summary, I would simply say that if this company has something that fits your budget and requirements, please give it a try. I would recommend looking for a longer, in-depth review if you want more info, but on a high level, I would simply say that Lucid is trying to give 95% of the quality ...
