My wife and I went to see it last night. We hesitated because I told her that the gents from the Hide weren't raving about it. "Should we go see it then?" She asked. "Yeah, they're also saying Scarlett Johansen is hot," I replied. Regardless of the flawed science (when are Hollywood movies ever 100% based in reality) we both thought it was a good movie. It was heavy toward the idea of evolution, but the end when she reaches 100% suggested the notion that God could exist and would have the power to create. I didn't see it as an agenda movie like I thought the movie Noah was (all good people are vegetarians) and the effects were good. The best line in the movie came from Morgan Freeman, "Humans are more concerned about having than being."
I didn't like the pointless gun fight at the end. Not necessary at all. And yes, there are plenty of theoretical holes in her abilities as she's accessing x% of her mind. Like Texote noted above, I thought the movie would have more action and if you're expecting to see that, this probably isn't for you. If you like movies that explore human behavior and theoretical science, then this will get you thinking. It's no "Inception," but it's not bad.
