I am really wanting to try the H58 and it will be in a 34-35mm tube scope. I found a good deal on a Leupold Mark 4 with the 34mm tube and the H58. What's your thoughts as to this scope or spend the extra and get an S&B or ?????

If it were me, I'd go H59, I like the floating center dot better. WIth either the H58 or H59 I'd cruise around the PX here to pick up a used HDMR. Better than the Leupy IMHO.

I used the H58 and did not like it I prefer the TMR. I'm really not a fan of the Hours RETs.
I like the scope it was very nice and worked great for me.

I used the H58 and did not like it I prefer the TMR. I'm really not a fan of the Hours RETs.
I like the scope it was very nice and worked great for me.

To me all of the Horus reticles suck. I can't give any feedback on the scope since I haven't used it, but after using a Horus reticle I would highly advise that you get some range time with one before you buy one. They seem like a good idea on paper but leave a lot to be desired when you actually use them.

I second the advice to get some trigger time with the H58 before deciding to buy a scope that has it, as obviously not everyone likes them.
Personally I think H59 and Tremor 2 are the heat and I wouldn't use anything else, with Tremor 2 being my preference between the two. H58 and H59 are pretty similar, H59 is basically an updated version of the former.
