Does anyone here know if the hooded aperture front match sights are still made? Or N.O.S. anywhere? Seems I am behind the curve, again, and the M-1 stuff is discontinued. Any leads are appreciated. Learned A LOT here and hoping to learn more. Thanks

Go to the cmp forums and ask. They know m1’s. The only national match sights I have are the hooded rear and narrow front

Thank you gents! I am waiting until they make another batch. Glad to know they are still made. Older eyes like shaded front sights.

Glad you found what you need. I’m not where you are yet but I can say that the scope mounts like the Spuhrs don’t work for me anymore. My far vision is fine but focusing on a bubble level that close is getting to be a problem.

Try Fulton armory. They make a lot of m1 and m1a parts.

I think the Lyman front sight may have one that fits the dovetail.
