So here is what I got. I took my M&P 9mm and ordered a storm lake threaded barrel for it. Barrel dropped right in and appears to function great and accuracy is very good. I through a YHM compensator on to play around. The recoil is awesome muzzle flip completely gone and accuracy was amazing but I'm guessing I'm loosing too much preasure to properly cycle the slide. If I want to keep this set up what options do I have. Can I safely adjust it with my ammo? I'm currently running 124gr fmj over 5.7gr power pistol. Any help would be really appreciated.

This would be my first thoughts.
Secondly, what is the purpose for this pistol? If its for run and gun and you have to meet power factor I wouldnt play with bullet weights too much ....
