Looking for the come ups on iron sights shooting a 168gr
How many clicks of elevation for 300 yards to say a thousand.
An example would be 10 clicks for a 3 hundred yards, the
sights are standard M1A.....Thanks...

300 -> 400 4 MOA
400 -> 500 4 MOA
500 -> 600 5 MOA
600 -> 700 5 MOA
700 -> 800 6 MOA
800 -> 900 8 MOA
900 -> 1000 8 MOA

Those should get you close.

My data book shows 33 minutes from 300 to 1000, but it is going to be tough to get the 168 grain bullet (unless maybe an AMAX) to remain above mach 1.2 to accurately reach 1000 yards.
