New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I have an m1a with a Springfield mount currently on it. I am not a big fan of this mount, and would like you guys to tell me about some better options.
+1 for Sadlak. Also check out Basset mounts. They are both great mounts with great customer service. There is also a lot of good information over at m14tfl.com.
Sadlak or Bassett. Another site chock full of M14 info is The M14 Rifle Association. See also a post in this section started by waveslayer about his 14 stringing shots. Good luck and good shooting!
I have a Bassett Low mount. Got it used on the M14 Forum. As others have said the Sadlak Airborne is a great one also. You can always look into the SEI mounts. Dont go cheap on it though. I have seen many a shooter pulling out their hair trying to get accuracy out of their M1A with awesome glass and a cheap mont.
