Rifle Scopes M1A SUPER SNIPER SCOPE QUESTION?

I have the ARMS 18 on my M1A.can I use ARMS 22 LOW RINGS?
Will the scope clear the rear sight?

I had a Super Sniper mounted on an M1A using a Smith Ent. mount and .835" Badger rings. The ocular bell of the scope hit the rear sight aperture unless the sight elevation was turned all the way down. I understand that the ARMS # 18 is even lower than the Smith. If you buy those low rings be sure to get exchange privileges so you can swap for higher rings if you need to.

Go with mediums. I used a Leupold Mark 4 on a ARMS18 running BO .885" and I barely cleared the rear sight with the ocular bell.

I have 2 friends who run the setup you're looking for, both use medium #22s and it clears it without much room left.

I use the Arms 22 mediums with my Leupold MK4 and it fits just right. I might could have gotten away with the lows but went for the mediums just in case and they work perfect.

Try it out before you sell them. I've got an IOR 2.5-10 on my M1A with an ARMS 18 and ARMS 22 lows. Clears the rear sight by maybe a millimeter.
