I watched a documentary last night "Medal Of Honor" dated 2008, which covered many men (and a woman) that received this recognition. I highly recommend the movie. It gave a history of the Medal dating back to the Civil War.
Twice while showing footage of the Korean conflict, were combat shots of an M1c in action. Rarely do you see footage of a sniper rifle in the old combat films. FYI.
