Gunsmithing m2008 action and manners stocks

im thinking of getting a custom rifle made and was thinking of using a m2008 action, this will be for a 300wm. my question is this , will it drop into a manners t4a with the mini chassis . it says on the badger ordnance site that it will fit into manners stocks but when i check out the manners site and stock builder page it doesnt have badger m2008 as an option. thanks for your help guys

We have a special version of the T4A with a high back tang area that we use. But we do not offer a mini chassis for the long/aciton 2008. We only offer a special order chassis for the short/action 2008 though. Let us know and we will get you taken care. Thank you very much,

thanks for the reply thomas much appreciated.whatever action i finally settle on il be planning on a t4a.thanks again. this is why i love this site, it seems no matter what you want to know its either allready posted here or there is someone on here that will be able help you out.

A little bit off topic, but since the OP's question was answered anyway...

Any future plans on offering a mini-chassis in the drop plate bottom metal style in addition to the standard DBM style? Just curious.

</div></div> We actually have done a few test stocks with a chassis for a gun manufacture that requested them to work with a BDL trigger guard. They are in the process of testing them out now. It is basicly the same chassis just set up for remington bdl trigger guard. To answer your question, yes there is plans to do this just not sure of the time frame. Thank you very much,

Thanks for the response Tom. That sounds like the non-DBM chassis would not have integrated bottom metal then but allow you to add your own bottom metal flavor? Interesting.
