Hey Guys! Fresh meat here

lol

I joined because I own my very own m24, its my baby and I would cry if she was separated from me. My current scope is a Weaver grand slam, but was thinking of 'upgrading' to a Bushnell Elite series Any recommendations before I finalize? I'm looking to spend anywhere up to $550-600 for a well rounded scope. Any help would be awesome, Thanks

Re: m24 Scope?

It seems for the money the SWFA Super Sniper at $549 is a good deal. This is what I plan to start with after my rifle is complete. The Sniper Hide Members get a 10% discount on the 3-9x42 and the 10x HD Model.

Re: m24 Scope?

Natchez still has'em at $539.95 ...I've really been tempted to pick one up at that price...I keep checking half-hoping they'll be sold out so I won't have any more 'splainin' to do.

Re: m24 Scope?

i would go with the zeiss conquest. I know its not "tactical" but depending on what you use the rifle for will most likely work just fine and has excellent glass.

Re: m24 Scope?

if you have a true M24 and not a "built just like an M24" it would be a crime to put cheap glass on it. Save up a couple more months and buy a top quality scope. A Used Nightforce can be had in the area of a grand, a like new Leupold Mark4 same price and even a nice used USO pops up now and then for $1500. Wait and save and buy a top quality scope and you will never regret it.

Buy once and cry once...

Re: m24 Scope?

If you want the leupold current m24 scope its the fixed 10x LEU 47638 is the manufacure code. I used to have one..pretty good scope. The M3 scope has a lot of history behind it as it was the original MK4 scope to begin with.

I feel enlightened... I think I'll take your advice man, time to start stuffing more money under my mattress! Oh wait did I say that outloud? :S I mean, I keep my money underground somewhere >.>

Re: m24 Scope?

I agree, i found a Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14 for 750 w/ mildot reticle, great shape and all w/ rings. It is worth saving up a little longer for something you will most likely be happier with and hang onto longer. I used to have the issue with picking some thing up that was just ok, and a few months later tire of it and want something nicer. It saves cash in the long run to buy the good stuff up front.
