Rifle Scopes M4 scope advice

I am looking fir an upgrade for my M4 ootic currently it ha a trijicon 3.5 scooe and I feel it doesnt suut my needs, I was thinking about a 1-6 scope so I can have real 1 magnification an 6 magnification for longer ranges shots, I would like to hear your recommandations and experiance, the rifle is mainly used for 3 gun and self defence.

I was told by the guys at Europtic that the trijicon 1-6 Accupoints are a big favorite in 3 gun.

All kinds of optics are worth wild for your pursuit. If you are looking for a BDC a 1-6 Vortex Razor is a good choice. The new Trijicon 1-8 is also worth a look as the price ranges are not that different.

The vortex 1-6 razor is a great scope for 3-gun, very nice class and good eyebox. . The furthest I've used it in 3 gun is out to 600 yds, for longer shots I'd prefer a 1-8. Never felt the need for side irons with it really, very fast target aquisition at 1x.
