M40A1 almost completed

I have been working on this for a while.

Just got the mount from Skunk, it is a USO reproduction that was modified for 30mm rings.

That worked good for me, since I am not really wanting to go out and pay $3000 for a MST-100 or Unertl.

Used the original bottom metal that came with the return stock.

Thinking about going with the Williams drop-in bottom metal with detachable magazine to make rifle more functional

I am currently wanting to ssell my rifle and start a clone build. Very nice.

Yes the fish pond is nice and every kid loves it.

However it is a lot of work.
