Bought 1 of 10 , D.D.Ross M40A3 'Test Rifles' built at Quantico in August 2002. I need to know what Harris bipod would be appropraite for this gun. I believe that the original Harris bipods were 6"-9" high , swivel base, notched leg, perhaps with a "KMW" podlock.
I sold my 'double-wide' and I pulled my stupid kid from college to get a tuition refund to pay for this. I don't want to get the wrong stuff for it.
I'd also like to get early sling swivels for the "brite" swivel cups that were used on this gun.
I'm beyond any rational definition of " help" ; but if anyone chooses to deal with this question , I'd bet that they'd have the "accolades of a grateful nation" .
