Curious what a GAP Eric Reid built M40A3 with a real S&B M8541 scope would be worth. Has all the fixings with it i.e scope box, ARD, SIMRAD mount. Beautiful condition, shot about 40 times. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just from my experience, I have purchased a Reid Gap M40A3 and a M8541 on separate occasions from this site.
M40A3 with a standard S&B 3-12 was $7000.
M8541 engraved “premier reticle” was $6000 (Depends on demand). Higher than I wanted to pay but it came basically new with box & accessories. Didn’t want to pass up the opportunity.

As fa as how real, its one of the ones that was released to the public years ago. It isn't one that has been stolen.
Does it have the NSN engraved on it, or is it just the commercial M8541? Actual Marine Corps ownership/use can make an immense difference in rarity and value.
