Gunsmithing M5 inlet to a floolplate?

I've got a few rifles with the M5 bottom metal, does any one sell a hinged floorplate bottom metal that will fit the M5 inlet if I wanted to swap them out.

Supposedly a Badger M4 will fit in with a very slight gap.

"yes it will drop right in, but there will be a very small gap, just along the straight cut on both sides of the mag well. all else fits perfectly on my M4/M5 swaps."

Can he try bedding the bottom metal to get rid of the gaps?

I like the idea of swapping out bottom metals, it's a long action so during hunting season I don't have to have the mag sticking out the bottom which is cumbersome and awkward to carry for me. I guess I'll find out what the gap looks like when I find an M4 bottom metal.
