Range Report Made it to the range yesterday

Got to play with my 30-06 some, stretched its legs out to 600 yrds. not bad for a hunting rifle. go to play with my 300 win mag too. found it likes 200 grain accubonds better than 185 grain bergers and 208 grain amax's

'06 is a great round. Too bad it's not "popular" any longer.

i know, ive had this rifle for 15 years. has put a lot of meat in the freezer over the years

Ballistics fall in between the .308 and .300 Win. Mag.

For Christ's sake, they used this round for the .30 caliber "light machinegun" for years.

I like the round. Nuff said. I'm far, far, far, from the expert on this web site. But, all things being equal, the '06 is hard to beat.
