I have a Winchester 70 L.A. I want to rebarrel to .308, but need the mag box modified with a block for the shorter ctg. Anyone ever done this and how did you do it.

Do you just want to keep the bolt stroke short? 308's run fine in a standard 30-06 magazine and follower.
