With all these mag length limitations why is no one making extended actions and mags? Why no 3.25” coal short action mag setups or 4.25” long action. Even a 4” long action setup (action and magazine)

Maybe I’ve missed something

On the “short” action side: Defiance, Lone Peak, and now Zermatt do actions with max COAL around 3.2 inches. Alternatively use a Tikka or Savage Axis LA to max out around 3.5 inches (vs 4in of bolt throw).

I'd want it longer. My RUM with 245's wouldn't fit in 4.25. I can't recall exact COAL but I'd bet 4.5" would do

Longer than my 338 edge with 285 badlands!

Perhaps lol.... its in the blueprint stage not out yet but it will be made soon will also have a larger tennon. It will be next after the 15x is finished for our repeater colossus cases
